surfdock team\'s plans aired for inflatable water park in dun laoghaire
This summer, the port of Dun lauguire will host an inflatable water park as the team behind the Surfdock, Dublin Grand Canal Pier, wins a tender to bring activities to the neglected waterfront. The Big Splash Water Park has applied to the Dun laghaire Rathdown council for an exemption from planning permission to allow it to set up inflatable barrier classes at the coal port in the coming weeks. The company hopes to erect a floating structure on the north side of the old pier. Colin Harris, director of the Big Splash Water Park, said he did not think planning permission was needed because the buildings could be built and demolished in a day.
